Workshop Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIP POLICY

A limited number of seats in each workshop are available on a first-come, first-served basis to scholarship recipients. Scholarship recipients are required to pay any additional fees associated with workshops. Scholarship recipients will be notified of acceptance or declination within one week of Support Center's receipt of application and supporting documentation. Scholarship recipients who do not follow Support Center cancellation policies may risk declination of future scholarship awards.

ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION

The New York State Council on the Arts will underwrite a limited number of partial scholarships for New York arts organizations. To apply for this scholarship, please submit:

  • A completed registration form
  • Payment of $20 per half day or full day of training
  • A written description on your organization's letterhead outlining your organizational or programmatic mission

United Way NYC scholarship participants include graduates of Linkages board development program, Junior Fellows, Senior Fellows, Executive Fellows and agency staff of Organizational Support Services participants. Scholarship recipients receive a 70% discount on all workshops. To apply for this scholarship, please submit:

  • A completed registration form
  • A copy of the United Way NYC acceptance letter
  • Payment of workshop fee (30% of workshop fee, based on agency's annual operating budget)

Altria Scholarship Program will underwrite up to three partial scholarships per workshop series for Domestic Violence, Hunger and Arts organizations. To apply for this scholarship, please submit:

  • A completed registration form
  • Payment of $20 per half day or full day of training
  • A written description on your organization's letterhead outlining your organizational or programmatic mission
